Lab:  Fermentation Lab using Pressure Probes (Comparing types of sugar sources)

Lesson Objectives/Activities:

The student will be able to:

1)        Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and application of simpler probability, genetic crosses

2)       Observe, Review, Identify 5 common birds found at Ohio Birdfeeders by both sight and sound

3)       Recognize inheritance patterns based upon cross outcome results

4)       Use analysis to predict genotypes/phenotypes of current and future generations

The student will be able to:

1.  Observe the process of fermentation

2.  Measure the rate of fermentation using Pascal Pressure Probe technology

3.  Plot data using computer program

4.  Analyze results

5.  Reach a conclusion based upon collected data.
