About Our School Albion Middle School is located in Strongsville, Ohio and is one of two middle schools in the Strongsville City School District. Albion houses approximately 520 students in grades 7 and 8. Albion staff includes a Principal, Assistant Principal, 2 Counselors, 1 part-time Media Specialist, 4 Intervention Specialists, 35 Certified Teachers, 21 Support Staff, and the services of a School Psychologist, Speech Therapist, LPN, and Occupational Therapist.
Albion is comprised of five teams; two 7th grade teams, two 8th grade teams, and one Encore team. The 8th grade core curriculum encompasses Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, American History, and Health/Physical Education. The 7th grade core curriculum includes Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and a double block of Language Arts. In a variety of these areas, honors classes are available as well as the opportunity for Algebra and Geometry. Encore classes taught at Albion include Art, Vocal, Instrumental and General Music, 7th grade Physical Education, Family & Consumer Science, 8th grade Computers, and 7th grade Skills For Success.
