Strongsville City Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program and maintains the highest standards of quality, service, sanitation and professionalism. The cafeterias in all ten schools are among a choice group of establishments who have earned the BE FOOD SAFE award from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health. Less than 10% of all license holders can claim this honor. In order to receive this recognition, the following guidelines must be met: Perfect health inspections - no critical violations
Demonstrate infallible practices
Have a Quality Assurance/Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Plan in effect
Exemplary compliance with the Ohio Revised Food Code
Each building received a BE FOOD SAFE placard, which is proudly displayed.
