Helping All Children Learn

The goal of our District is to provide students with the opportunity to learn by offering them  the combination of well-trained teachers, adequate resources and a rigorous curriculum that prepares them to effectively think, to communicate and to be citizens of good character.  The Talent Development and Curriculum department works with residents, principals, students and teachers to plan, coordinate and implement the actions needed to accomplish these targets:

v     Our curriculum is laid out in a logical K-12 sequence

v     Our curriculum is aligned with Federal mandates and State standards

v     Our assessment and testing programs are in compliance with State and Federal regulations

v     Teachers receive the professional development needed to achieve licensure and highly qualified status.

v     Provide intervention programs so all students receive an appropriate, compliant level of instruction from a well trained teacher.
