SHS Begins Search for New Head Coach


Strongsville, OH (March 9, 2017) - Strongsville City Schools announced today that Darren Collins will not be returning as head coach of the Mustangs varsity boys basketball program. The search process for a new head coach will begin immediately. This decision was announced to the current members of the Mustangs boys basketball program in a meeting this afternoon.


Strongsville City Schools would like to thank Coach Collins for his commitment to the basketball program and for his hard work and dedication over the past four seasons. The District wishes him well in his future endeavors.


Strongsville City Schools is committed to finding the best coach to guide the Mustangs high school boys basketball program. The administration has developed a process for hiring and transitioning to a new coach and will be sharing additional information with families in the boys basketball program in the next few weeks.  


Beginning tomorrow (Friday, March 10), interested applicants can find the job posting at www.strongnet.org, under the Human Resources section of the website.
