• Remote Learning Plans & Resources

Our overarching focus during this closure is to foster remote learning opportunities so student learning continues and we reduce gaps in knowledge as much as possible, so our students are as prepared as they can be for the 2020-21 school year.

    REMOTE LEARNING PLAN PROCEDURES

    • Our teachers have worked diligently to create remote learning plans for our students (see links below).  For preschool/elementary, plans will be posted for two weeks at a time and available no later than April 6th at 8AM for the weeks of April 6th and 13th.  For middle and high school, plans will be updated on a weekly basis and will be available no later than 8AM on Monday or the first school day of the week.  This structure will continue until school reopens.

    • Plans are organized by the week.  Students may work at their own pace and at any time of day.  Students do not have to complete work in order and may choose different learning opportunities each day with the goal to engage in learning every day.

    • Teachers will also be holding "office hours" during each school day.  The "office hour" will be communicated by your teacher.  This is a great time to get questions answered or get assistance from your teacher.  However, feel free to contact your child's teacher or Principal via email at any time with questions you may have.  They will get back to you during their office hours or sooner if possible.

    RESOURCES TO SUPPORT REMOTE LEARNING

    • Should your family need paper copies of your student’s remote learning experiences, each elementary school will have copies available attached to the front doors of the building. Copies for the week of April 6 are now available at each elementary building.

    • Should there be an issue with a District Chromebook, please fill out this FORM to report the issue and schedule a repair.

    • To also assist families who may not have home printers, Strongsville Staples (12421 Pearl Rd.) is offering FREE printing of school remote learning materials. Bring a flash drive, send an email, or access Google drives through in-store computers. Visit the Strongsville Staples website HERE or call the Strongsville Staples Print & Marketing Department at 440.878.0849 for additional information.
