• About Miss Rogers

Miss Rogers has been teaching in the Strongsville City Schools since 2009!  She teaches at Surrarrer, Muraski, Drake, Kinsner, and Center Middle School.  She is a violinist, graduated with her Bachelor of Music Education from the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music, and is currently working on her Master in Music Education at the University of Akron.  She actively performs in many local venues, particularly for weddings and special events.  Miss Rogers teaches school lessons, Beginning and Advanced All-City Orchestra, Elementary Honors Orchestra, and Center Middle School Chamber Strings.  In her spare time, she loves to read, spend time with friends and family, play violin, Nintendo DS and hang with her guinea pigs.  The past few summers she attended Graduate Courses at Ohio State University, taught by Robert Gillespie, the author of the Essential Elements series, and at Baldwin-Wallace University.  She is always looking to improve her teaching abilities and loves getting to know all the students.
