Student EligibilityKindergarten is mandatory in Ohio. According to State Law and District policy, any child who becomes five years old on or before August 1, 2021 is eligible for admission into the Strongsville School District's Kindergarten program this August.
1. Full-Day Kindergarten Request Form This link will become live at 8:00 AM on Thursday, January 14, 2021 and submissions will be time stamped in the order received. Complete this form only if you want to register your child for Full-Day Kindergarten. Skip this step if you are registering your child for Half-Day Kindergarten.2. Registration Packet
This enrollment packet contains information regarding kindergarten registration, information about Safety Town, school transportation and helpful hints you can use to prepare your child for Kindergarten. 2021-2022 Kindergarten Registration Packet. (Please review prior to registering.)
3. Online Pre-Registration
Strongsville City Schools has implemented an online pre-registration program for the convenience of families with students new to our district. Pre-Registration of your child and document submission may now be completed online from the comfort of home. This program increases the accuracy and efficiency of the registration process.Required DocumentationDuring the enrollment process, parents must submit required documentation listed below by uploading into the registration site or emailing copies to skochheiser@scsmustangs.org:Student's Birth Certificate
Student's Immunization Records
Proof of Residency - One of the following: tax bill, mortgage coupon, gas, electric or sewer/water bill, insurance policy on dwelling, or a signed rental or purchase agreement
Verification of legal custody/guardianship (only if child is not living with both his/her natural parents): Certified Copy of Court Order or Court Appointed GuardianshipAll of the appropriate items listed above must be provided in order to enroll your child.
