On Wednesday evening, Oct. 23, 2013, the annual "Mustang Bowl" was held at Pat Catan Stadium.  At this event, a seventh grade football team (combined Albion & Center Middle School students) had an opportunity to play Brunswick as well as the 8th grade football teams competed against each other.  The 8th grade bands from each middle school played during the intermission between games.  PTA was also involved in this event by serving ice cream to students.  In addition, Student Council groups from both Center and Albion had a friendly competition fundraiser (Oct 7-11) to see which school collected the most items for a canned food drive.  Student Council members attended the Mustang Bowl and announced the top fundraising school at halftime (Albion).  However, students from both schools did a fabulous job of collecting a total of 1,777 items that were donated to the Strongsville Food Bank, the ultimate winner.  What a great way for students to have some fun while giving back to the community!
