Congratulations to Albion Middle School for having the highest participation in the entire county in the Touchdown for Reading Program! This program is sponsored by the Cleveland Browns and Cuyahoga County Public Library System. Over 100 students participated and collectively read a total of 235,377 minutes to win the grand prize. A formal recognition and presentation of a banner took place on Monday, December 9th. Students were also awarded a pizza party with Chomps (Browns mascot) on hand to interact with students. Sunglasses, donated by the Cleveland Clinic, were also passed out at this cool event. Mr. Robert Rua, from the Cuyahoga County Public Library, came to Albion to personally recognize the students and staff involved in promoting reading and this program.
