Dear Parents and Community Members:It is my honor and privilege to serve as the Strongsville City Schools’ Superintendent. Our District serves over 5,400 students and is comprised of one preschool, five elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8) and one high school (9-12).
Thanks to the generosity and support of the Strongsville community, our District has seen much positive change over the past few years, in terms of new construction and the renovation of our preschool and high school. Due to the cost efficiencies and savings realized in managing this process, additional renovations were added for the long-term benefits of our students, staff, and community. We are proud that the entire project was on time and under budget; a true testament to the hard work and efforts of our construction partners, citizens committees, the Board of Education, and the staff and administration in our District.
Updating our facilities is only part of the equation in making sure students graduating from Strongsville City Schools are college and career ready. For the current school year, we welcome back our students with many exciting opportunities. Honors classes beginning in the sixth grade, career technical classes offered at the middle and high school, an Air Force JROTC program, and a robust catalog of high school Advanced Placement (AP) courses are just some of the fantastic opportunities we are proud to offer our students.
In addition to the abovementioned new initiatives, we continue to implement our comprehensive vision and strategic plan: Strong Schools 2020. Through this plan, we are building a District of excellence and innovation and will continue our drive in becoming a premier District in the region and state.
Our goal at Strongsville City Schools is to build and strengthen a collaborative atmosphere, dedicated to always working in the best interest of our students. It takes more than our teachers, staff, and administrators to accomplish this - we need you as a partner for our District to continue the work in reaching our shared goal of excellence for our students and community.
I look forward to working with our parents and community in the coming year and if I can be of any assistance, please contact me at 440.572.7010 or email@example.com. You can also visit our website (www.strongnet.org) for additional information about our District and schools.
