Mrs. Jessica Boytim
Jessica Boytim was name Strongsville Middle School Principal in 2020. "There's no place like home. My family and I made Strongsville our home 5 years ago and enjoy living in this wonderful community. I am grateful and excited for the opportunity to deeply invest into this community as the principal of Strongsville Middle School. I look forward to working with the administrative team, staff, students and parents, to strengthen the bonds of community and to give all of our students an outstanding education and school experience. Our schools should be a second home to our students where they can feel a sense of comfort and safety; I look forward to working with my team to create this environment and opportunities for our students to thrive. I look forward to the upcoming school year and working with the Strongsville Middle School community,” said Mrs. Jessica Boytim, newly selected Strongsville Middle School Principal.
Mrs. Justina Peters
Justina Peters was named Assistant Principal of Strongsville Middle School in 2019. Peters helps to create a safe environment for students to learn and grow. She helps to instruct students at their individual educational; level to improve academic success. She takes part in promoting a positive environment—academically and socially. Mrs. Peters supports teachers with all academic and behavioral needs to provide the best possible education for students at SMS.
Mrs. Peters earned a B.S. in Education from Kent State University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University. She has just completed her 25th year in Elementary Education.
Prior to becoming the Assistant Principal at SMS, she was the Principal at Muraski from 2008-2019, Peters taught 10 years at the elementary level. From 1990-2000 she was a Teacher at Keystone Local Schools where she was a former Basketball and Volleyball Coach. Peters was also the Principal at Vincent Elementary in Clearview, Adjunct Professor for both Bowling Green State University and Ashland University, and the Facilitator for on-line math programs at Miami University from 2009-2015.
Mrs. Jamie Bailey
Jamie Bailey was named Assistant Principal of Strongsville Middle School in 2019.
"Dream Big. Work Hard. Be You." These phrases are what Mrs. Bailey encourages all of her students to remember at Strongsville Middle School. Mrs. Bailey believes that no dream is too big, if you can put your mind to it. Reaching for your dreams is not an easy task - it takes commitment and effort - but putting forth this effort is well worth it. In the process, Mrs. Bailey also reminds students that being yourself is the most important ideal. She looks forward to learning what makes each student unique, building strong relationships with the students of Strongsville Middle School, and helping all students achieve success, both inside and outside of the classroom.
Mrs. Bailey earned a B.A. from the University of Dayton in Communication. She also attended Cleveland State University where she received her teaching license, Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and her Administration certificate.
Prior to becoming the Assistant Principal at SMS she taught at Kinsner Elementary from 2010-2019.
