Strongsville High School is highly rated, provides a robust curriculum taught by a highly qualified staff, and provides students with stimulating opportunities to master both required and elective studies. Our students choose from a wide variety of challenging and competitive extra- and co-curricular activities to help them grow as people as they prepare for their life after high school. Student college admission test scores are above average.
We currently have over 2,000 students from grades nine through twelve with roughly 175 teachers and support staff. We offer excellent education, athletics, and extracurricular activities. Strongsville High School offers honors level courses ranging from the core subjects to college prep classes. We also offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses, taught by highly trained AP teachers. Strongsville High School‘s sports facilities include: three gyms, football stadium complete with a track, soccer fields, and baseball fields.
Strongsville High School is being renovated as part of the $81 million District renovation program. The high school will remain open during the entirety of the construction project to ensure minimum disruption to the students and the renovations will be completed by February 2017. This fall, students were welcomed back to a renovated instructional environment with up-to-date technology in every renovated classroom.
