Who Am I ?I attended Brunswick high school and graduated in 1985. I then pursued a Bachelors degree in Education from Baldwin-Wallace College and a Masters degree in Supervision/Administration from Ashland University. I continue to keep my teaching skills up-to-date by attending graduate workshops in the summer and during the school year. I have also been a teacher trainer and administrator in the district. This is the start of my 28th year of teaching and I still love the thrill I get from finding a new "treasure" or idea to use in my classroom. I have taught kindergarten, first, third and fifth grade. Prior to coming to Chapman, I was a teacher at Kinsner and Zellers. I was also the principal at Whitney School, Prospect School in Oberlin, and Crestview LocalSchool in Ashland county.I live in Brunswick with my husband, two college aged children, and two dogs named Callie & Berkeley . I enjoy cooking, shopping, cleaning/organizing and reading a good mystery. When I am not at school I enjoy volunteering at the Berea Animal Shelter (ARF) and fostering puppies and cats.
