Who Am I ?
I attended Brunswick high school and graduated in 1985.  I then pursued a Bachelors degree in Education from Baldwin-Wallace College and a Masters degree in Supervision/Administration from Ashland University.  I continue to keep my teaching skills up-to-date by attending graduate workshops in the summer and during the school year.  I have also been a teacher trainer and administrator in the district.
This is the start of my 28th year of teaching and I still love the thrill I get from finding a new "treasure" or idea to use in my classroom.   I have taught kindergarten, first, third and fifth grade.  Prior to coming to Chapman, I was a teacher at Kinsner and Zellers.  I was also the principal at Whitney School, Prospect School in Oberlin, and Crestview LocalSchool in Ashland county.
I live in Brunswick with my husband, two college aged children, and two dogs named Callie & Berkeley .  I enjoy cooking, shopping, cleaning/organizing and reading a good mystery.  When I am not at school I enjoy volunteering at the Berea Animal Shelter (ARF) and fostering puppies and cats.
