Pro Sports Performance Donates $25,000
to “Excellence in Athletics” Campaign

Donation Will Be Used For New Weight Room

At Strongsville High School

Strongsville, OH (February 3, 2017) - The Strongsville City Schools “Excellence in Athletics” Campaign received a $25,000 donation from Strongsville-based Pro Sports Performance in the fundraising efforts for a new weight room at Strongsville High School. The donation includes naming rights to this weight room and a partnership to support training programs for Strongsville High School student-athletes.

“Pro Sports Performance main goal is to make an impact in the Strongsville community. We are excited for the opportunity to not only train Strongsville student-athletes in the physical sense, but also be able to strengthen them mentally, and be a part of their development,” said Reggie Hodges, co-owner of Pro Sports Performance.

“We appreciate the Board and Strongsville City Schools approving this partnership and accepting our donation. Strongsville’s commitment is clear in continuing to develop its student-athletes and making the athletic program and all of its teams the very best they can be. We are excited to be a part of this important process,”  said Jason Trusnik, co-owner of Pro Sports Performance.

“We are very pleased with this partnership with Pro Sports Performance. This goes beyond the financial commitment to our district. Jason, Reggie and their entire staff have demonstrated a willingness and motivation to make an impact on our student-athletes. We appreciate their enthusiasm and look forward to their impact on our athletic program,” said Cameron Ryba, Superintendent of Strongsville City Schools.

Since October 2015 when the campaign kicked off, the “Excellence in Athletics” fundraising campaign has received corporate and individual donation commitments totaling over $1.6 million. These generous contributions, from companies including Serpentini Chevrolet, Southwest General Health Center, the Pat Catan family, Progressive Poured Walls, Strongsville Chamber of Commerce, Strongsville City Club, Shoreline Trucking, GPD Group, Hammond Construction, Strongsville’s Athletic Booster Club, Strongsville’s Music Booster Club, Strongsville Lacrosse, Chick-fil-A, the MAQ Center, Strongsville administration and Board members, and Strongsville PTA, have resulted in new turf fields at both the high school and middle schools.
