Strongsville, OH (January 23, 2020) - Mr. Seth Roberts was voted in as the newest member of Strongsville’s Board of Education during last night’s meeting. The Board unanimously voted for Mr. Roberts to fill the open seat, due to the recent resignation of Colonel Duke Evans, USAF (ret.).
“I appreciate the Board’s confidence and their trust in the experience I bring to this group. I am excited to join Strongsville’s Board of Education and work to provide our community with a premier school district,” said Mr. Roberts.
Mr. Roberts will serve on the Board until December 31, 2021. If Mr. Roberts desires to continue serving, he must run in the next general Board election.
In addition, two officers were recently voted into leadership positions at the January 9th Board Meeting. Mr. Richard Micko will serve as President and Mrs. Laura Wolfe-Housum will serve as Vice President for the Board in 2020.
Strongsville City Schools, in partnership with the community,
will ensure all students reach their fullest potential through challenging curriculum and activities,
