Strongsville High School Named 2020 U.S. News “Best High School”
Strongsville Earns #49 Ranking in Ohio

Strongsville, OH (May 6, 2020) - Strongsville High School has been named a 2020 U.S. News “Best High School” and earned the #49 spot in rankings of Ohio high schools. Strongsville High School has continually improved its ranking over the past three years, ranking #115 in 2017, #95 in 2018, and #73 in 2019 in this annual list. Strongsville High School also ranks #1,386 nationally, up from #2,075 on last year’s listing.

U.S. News ranked more than 17,700 public high schools across the United States. There were 691 Ohio schools which earned a place on the list of ranked institutions. These annual rankings take a holistic approach in evaluating schools, focusing on six factors: college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rates. College readiness measures participation and performance on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams.
